With all of the flooding going out, Thalia decide to head the Island of Ko Samui a little early. We teamed up with Quinn and took a trip across town to Khaosan Rd where Thalia’s bus would leave at 9pm.
The devil has a new name, its Sangsom. A smooth pirate hooker rum that will completely black out your memories. What the video won’t show, is what happened after Thalia left. My memory is completely blacked out. I vaguely remember going into a massage place but I don’t remember getting a massage and Quinn passed out during the massage. So I waited downstairs for a long time talking to some random New Zealand girls. Finally the ladies working there must of told me to go wake up my friend.
I checked my bank statement and looked like I took out 3k, and I don’t have it now and no idea what I could of spent in on and according to Quinn we left right around the time I took it out.
So that’s a bad beat. Maybe in the future I’ll see about hiring a personal assistant to take care of my assets and be a camera man for the evening.
Thalia, a dutch girl I met while in Prague a few months ago, joined me here in Bangkok and we went out for our first adventure into the city together. Started out on the super crowded BTS Sky Train and headed to Siam Station, in the Center of Bangkok. We ran into a lot of different people and saw many different things as we scouted out the area. Several markets, restaurants and we spent most of our time lost in the MBK shopping center, the biggest mall in Bangkok.
After our daytime adventure, we went for some massages followed by a dinner night cap at a seafood restaurant. Inside I tried some “pla ra” a stinky fish sauce recommended by a fellow thai expat from the Thai Visa forums. It smelled horrible, but the taste wasn’t as bad as I imagined it would be. The spicy papaya salad I put it on was more of a threat, but I was able to handle it because of my HUGE Kawhonies! I can’t say I’ve met anyone else who actually made “Ke$sha” look like sober church girl! We first met when she came to the house after responding to a roommate ad for a spot that opened up in the Seville house. She stuck around and that night we met up with Shawn and Michaela at Cadillac Ranch. We put down a lot of beers, shots and more than I could count. We were the last two left in the bar as it was closing and we had to go. Unfortunately she had drove and I couldn’t drive stick. She convinced my drunk ass that she could and we ended up about 3 blocks before I realized her eyes were closed. Luckily my roommate Blake was awake and came to the rescue. We had many good times after that, and plenty of times that pissed each other off, haha, I remember the time I got pissed for some reason and took the phone out of your hand and threw it across the room. I don’t know what the fuck I was thinking. I miss you smile, I miss your jalapeno cheesy eggs and most of all, i miss your FACE! I hope life is treating you well and you continue to your dreams!
Blake Kelso
I first met Blake at the Excalibur Poker Room during a 1/2 NL game at the new electronic tables they had for a trial period. It failed, they brought the dealers back after 6 months. I had entered my Poker Stars name “Sandviper23″ and after a few hands Blake had recognized my name. It turns out we had played quite a few hands together online and we got to talking. Blake was pretty wasted that night but we did talking about the new poker house. About a month later he moved into our 9 bedroom poker house and we’ve been friends ever since. He met his girlfriend Lee at one of our parties and they are still together after 2 years. Here is a video of his birthday party at the poker house when we through him in the pool! Haha! Kalli Horne
I first met Kalli at the Seville house with Ashley and we became roommates for several months after. She was always down to do anything, but also capable of changing her mind on the way out the door. Horne, Dash, what is your real last name anyway? One of the funniest things I remember was when we were sitting on the couch and you gave your password away to someone who told you they had naked pictures of Breese or something? haha, i don’t remember exactly, but BAM! you’re facebook got hacked and you struggled for an hour to try to beat them back into it. Straight up, the most down to earth and chill girl I know, even though you love to hate on the ones you love, its all in good fun. Until Vegas brings us together again, bottoms up!
Joe Busti
Its been a while since I’ve seen Joe. We first met through John Tollison and the WPDG “Wed Poker Discussion Group” which we all attended regularly way back in they day. 2004? We became roommates in my first Vegas house and played more internet poker that year than I ever remember. Joe was the only person I knew that was so into grinding that instead of taking breaks to go pee, he’d keep empty Gatorade bottles in his room so he didn’t have to miss any hands. After moving back to Austin, he’d occasionally come back to Vegas and rent the out the closet under the stairs cause it had just enough room in the back to fit a twin size mattress. Joe is doing great now and has a beautiful family. I wish him all the best!
Courtney Faber
I met Courtney back in 2005, when I first moved to Las Vegas. Courtney didn’t drink back then, so our adventures were not of the partying type per say… but more of the random things that normal people wouldn’t consider fun. One day she decided to go on a Canadian road trip with one of my roommates at the time, and although I knew it was headed for disaster, they both seemed to think it would be a good idea. I still don’t know exactly what happened… Anyway, I never met a sweeter girl ;-) Miss you! Hope all is well!
I didn’t get much sleep the last 3 days. Maybe… 4 hours total? I’ve taken some of the projects you’ve guys mentioned and been running wild with them. One of them has been taking pretty much ALL of my time, its short term but have already made a few hundred $$ from it and will continue to take advantage of the promotion until it runs out. I’m keeping this a secret for now, probably only last a little bit longer.
So in this video I adventure out on a 10 minute walk from my apartment and discover an entire market of street food. Very cheap, very good, … most of it, and I get a few things. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for subscribing!

Filling up those water bottles for 1 baht vs paying 15-20 baht for a new one will save me some money. I do hate poker, but at the same time it has given me the freedom to work out of any city in the world that has internet for the last 8 years.
So my friend Pavel sent me $200 on Poker Stars and I’ve been playing the $25 buyin NL games. Its hard to play such low stakes but the games are much softer as long as the rake doesn’t eat you up too fast. I’m up about $40 since playing, just gotta keep grinding and build it up to $500 so I can take a shot at moving up to the $50 NL games.

It took a lot to post this video, especially knowing a lot of my friends on Facebook would see it. Facebook is like a mystical land where everyone post pictures of them having fun. Its a place for nice comments and where lots of love is shown… for the most part. I didn’t want everyone to know how fucked up my life is right now, kinda wanted to just leave Facebook as my escape to pretend everything is okay. Ah but fuck it, life isn’t perfect for anyone right?
It all started 6 months ago when I went to Prague to play baseball this summer. I was already kinda low on cash, my poker hourly rate was about $20 an hour saw a drop to about $5-10 an hour as Black Friday hit (which banned all bad american players from giving money away online) So as the summer went on, all of the professional USA players found a way to continue playing and the games got tougher and tougher to beat. With half of my time committed to my baseball team, the other half of the time spent playing poker didn’t see much profit like it used to.
Things only got worse as the summer came to and end. I had lost my wallet, with all of my cards, a lot of money and ids, etc. All I had left was my passport. I booked my flight to Bangkok, Thailand and moved into my new apartment on October 2nd, which after paying travel expenses, and my rent + deposits, I was left with $900, $200 of it was in Czech Crowns, which collect dust today because NO PLACE in Thailand will exchange them!
With $700 left, $500 on the poker site, $200 was spent on normal stuff in the 2 weeks I was here, cab rides, food, one night out drinking beer, a mouse pad, bathroom stuff, which was budget well, but not that $200 is only $12 and the $500 small poker bankroll was lost in the 2 weeks which happens. 8 stressful years of playing poker for a living and today is the worst and most stressful day ever. I’m leaving poker behind and now I will search for a new way to earn a living.
With $12 total to my name, rent paid for until November 1st, and no assets, and poker left behind… my adventure begins.
I will keep you guys posted on what happens.

My favorite movie with her are Closer and Garden State. She is a great actress with a lot of talent and it has shown over the years. I’m looking forward to all of her new movies and enjoy the variety of characters she has played so far. She always brings a unique sass and style to her roles that no other actress has been able to match.
Closer was an excellent role for her, probably her best. I can’t forget to mention how hot she looked in that pink wig. But besides that, I loved the character. At the end of the movie, in the strip club, Clive Owen’s character keeps pressing her to tell him her real name. The irony is that she was using a fake name the entire time. It was great! You want to feel bad for Jude Law’s character because she totally dumps him in the end. ”I don’t love you anymore”. I was heart broken for him, but at the same time we all knew that Jude deserved it. Would be a great movie to have a sequel for. Very dramatic and intense scenes. I think all four of the main actors did a great job.
